My hands sometimes complained if I was at it with the Tango for a while, and the battery didn’t hold too well. On top of this, while I may have genitals of steel that not only can deal with the Tango’s most intense setting but actively demand it, I do not have fingers of steel. And while I’m not a fan of vibrator patterns at all, I definitely did think the lack of intensity control with the patterns was a possible source of frustration for other people. It’s really frustrating, especially when I inevitably forget the number of times I’ve pressed the button already, and have to do the same thing twice. I use the Tango pretty consistently on its highest setting, and I can’t count the number of times I’ve accidentally hit the button and gone from steady stimulation to patterns, having to then loop all the way back around again. The first was the single button controls. I love the original Tango, but I did have a small number of complaints about it. The Tango has a classic bullet vibrator shape for the most part, with a flattened edge on one side, ideal for more pinpoint stimulation. It’s a little longer than some other bullets, and I found this meant if I wanted to harness a dildo with a vibrator hole in the base, most of the time I couldn’t use the Tango. Controlled by a single button, it comes with 4 solid settings of various intensities, as well as 4 patterns. ![]() The original Tango is known for being incredibly rumbly, and for good reason. So, to start, how does it differ from the Tango original? Much as I love the idea of simply saying ‘the Tango X is the Samwise Gamgee of vibrators’, I feel like I do need to give some context and explanation of why I love the Tango X so much. The We-Vibe Tango X is an improvement on almost all of my pain points with the original Tango, it has taken the place of my Tango at my bedside, and I’ve become so enthralled with it that during a PowerPoint evening with some friends where I presented “What If Lord of The Rings Characters Were Sex Toys’, I compared it to Samwise Gamgee. I’m always a little sceptical about ‘Upgrades’ within the sex toy industry, but this one is genuinely true. Turns out, We-Vibe not only could but have improved the Tango. Or like me with the original We-Vibe Tango, where the single button was a little fiddly and feeling the vibrations at full strength in my fingers was sometimes a bit Too Much, but it was so close to perfection that I was willing to let those slide in the pursuit of The Rumbliest Bullet Vibrator. ![]() L 4”, W 0.Have you ever had a moment when something isn’t quite perfect, but it’s close enough to perfect that you’re pretty sure it can’t practically be improved on? Something like a sourdough recipe, where the texture is a tiny bit too chewy and the crust isn’t quite crackly enough but everything else is so perfect-and you’re pretty sure you can’t make those slight crust and texture improvements without ruining some other feature-that you’re willing to let it slide.ABS, body-safe silicone, free from phthalates and BPA and made without latex.Tango X’s small size also makes it an unobtrusive choice for stimulation during penetrative sex. Its angled, tapered tip (flat on one side) is perfect for focused stimulation (clitoris, frenulum, nipples), while its shaft can be used for broader stimulation. Tango X’s upgraded features include a stronger motor and longer battery life, as well as a new silicone grip and control buttons. We-Vibe's Tango X is an update to the brand's iconic Tango bullet. Tango is revered for a reason-it’s well-known for packing a lot of power into a tiny package.
